Jeezy has been arrested for false imprisonment, battery and making terrorist threats against his own son during a fight that occurred two years ago.

TMZ reports that the Atlanta rapper allegedly got into a fight with his son, who's apparently a teenager, in a bathroom during September 2012. The incident reportedly included Jeezy throwing his son into a glass shower and causing him to hurt his head. Court documents claim that the 36-year-old rhymer then pulled his son into a bedroom and physically beat him. When his son tried to escape, the 'R.I.P.' MC's bodyguard apparently blocked his exit.

The assault also includes Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, issuing threats to his son like, "I will kill you," and "I will put a bullet in your head right now... If I could get away with it, I would kill you."

On Friday (Jan. 3), Jeezy turned himself in to authorities in Atlanta. He is currently free on a $45,000 bond. "We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy," Jeezy's attorney stated.

This isn't the first arrest for Jeezy, who has landed in an Atlanta jail for D.U.I. in 2008, and in the Bahamas in 2010, among others.
