After much speculation, Jay Z has finally officially announced that he does have an album on the way. The album, 4:44, will drop on June 30 and will be exclusive to Tidal and Sprint customers.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Sprint acquired 33 percent of Jay Z's streaming service and that partnership is resulting in a string of new music exclusives, according to a joint statement released about Jay's upcoming album.

“Today is an exciting day to be a Sprint customer. Jay-Z is a global icon and we’re giving customers an incredible opportunity to be among the first to experience his new album 4:44,” Marcelo Claure, Sprint president and CEO, said in a statement. “Our loyal, existing customers, and customers who switch to Sprint, can experience the album exclusively, plus access a complimentary six-month trial of Tidal HiFi, giving them access to content they can’t get anywhere else.”

It's unclear how long the album will be an exclusive, and as of right now, customers outside of the U.S. will only have access to the release via Tidal. This will be Jay's thirteenth album, and his first since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail. The album will drop on June 30.
