JAY-Z’s celebrated album 4:44 is now certified platinum after five days of its release on June 30. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday morning (July 5).

Hov’s sales achievement makes him the only artist to have 13 platinum-selling albums in RIAA history. He’s also the only rapper with 10 or more platinum albums to his name.

“Props to JAY, he’s done it again!” said RIAA Chairman and CEO Cary Sherman in a statement (via XXL). “Another Platinum album adds to an already iconic career.”

If 4:44 continues its streaming and sales pace, JAY-Z will certainly eclipse Kendrick Lamar (and Drake for that matter) as having the best selling rap album of 2017. In addition, 4:44 will reportedly be available on Apple Music on Friday (July 7).

Congratulations to JAY-Z on his milestone and for delivering a fantastic rap album.
