Jason Collins Makes His Return to the NBA
Much was said about Jason Collins when he became the first player to admit he was gay in any of the four major North American sports.
He made a reappearance in the league, as he signed a 10-day contract to play for the Brooklyn Nets as they make a playoff run. Collins played 11 minutes Sunday night in the Nets' defeated the Lakers, 108-102.
Collins came into the league in 2002 with the New Jersey Nets, where he played with now-Nets coach Jason Kidd and helped the team go to back-to-back NBA Finals.
