Seems like Chipotle can’t catch a break - or a mouse!  Patrons at the restaurant found unexpected visitors for lunch as mice fell from the ceiling at the North Market Street in the West End area location on Tuesday.

From NBC DFW, customers were alarmed but managed to capture pictures and video inside the restaurant showing the mice crawl across the floor and climbing the walls.

Customer Daniela Ornelas who was at the restaurant with her boyfriend said the following told NBC DFW:

If we would have been sitting at the table next to that it definitely would have fell on top of our food because it was literally right there

Chipotle issued a statement to give an explanation on what happened on Wednesday:

We learned yesterday that mice got into a restaurant," the statement read, "and we immediately contacted professionals who identified a small structural gap in the building as the likely access point. We’re having it repaired. Additionally, we reached out to the customer to make things right. This is an extremely isolated and rare incident and certainly not anything we’d ever want our customers to encounter.

Even though Chipotle has addressed the situation, many of the patrons said they probably wouldn't return to the establishment. Chipotle had a rough week as CNN reported that a number of customers got sick at a Virginia location.  Let's hope they can turn it around for their chain and their customers.
