Dwight Howard has had a bumpy road the last two years. With his criticized exits with the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers, the big man may have found a chemistry that will fit his style of play and his personality.

The Houston Rockets acquired Howard this past summer in hopes of increasing their chances to make a title run in 2013-2014. Howard, along with James Harden, could provide a one-two punch, and with a group of role players like Jeremy Lin, Houston could be a Finals contender.

Howard says he's comfortable with coach Kevin McHale, who played Howard's position and is a Hall of Famer.

"Coach understands where I'm at in the offense and knows when I need the ball,"Howard said in a recent interview. "Unlike my past coaches."
