April 21, 2016 will be a day music lovers will never forget as the world was in disbelief as Prince Rogers Nelson suddenly died in his Minneapolis home of an accidental fentanyl overdose.

A lot of question still remained unanswered as we come to the two-year anniversary of his passing as CNN reports, no criminal charges will be filed in relation to the music icons death.  Prince who suffered from an opiate addiction took counterfeit Vicodin pills that was laced with fentanyl per Mark Metz Carver County attorney.

Prince had no idea he was taking a counterfeit pill that could kill him.

The singer was found in his Paisley Park home unresponsive in an elevator and even though there was no evidence on how he obtained the pills and no known source criminal charges will not be filed.
