Health Department Nails Local Eatery
Texas doesn't mess around when it comes to restaurant inspections. The Subway location at 4201 South Broadway in Tyler found that out the hard way after being cited for serious violations during a recent health department visit.
KLTV reports that inspectors found gnats in the plumbing area beneath the beverage station as well as food thawing at room temperature. There were a lot more issues in the inspection, which resulted in 20 total demerits, according to KLTV.
