Rapper Gucci Mane has been indicted on one count of aggravated assault stemming from an incident in which he hit a club patron over the head with a champagne bottle.

The embattled rhyme-slinger appeared in a Fulton County courtroom Tuesday (April 9) and listened to the judge as he handed down the indictment, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

As we previously reported last month, an unidentified man accused the Brick Squad leader of cracking a champagne bottle upside his head after he asked if he could get a photograph with him. The victim, who is a soldier in the military, needed 10 stitches to close up the bloody wound on the top of his head.

After Gucci Mane surrendered to police, another man came out and said that he was also assaulted by the Atlanta rapper at a Philadelphia nightclub. “He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses," he said. “I haven’t ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected.”

Gucci Mane's attorney had no comment on the legal matter.
