It's the time of season when we reflect on all the things we are thankful for. And I'm sure the owner of a shoe that had $3,300 stashed inside, was really grateful when it was returned to her. Richard Lopez the manager at a Goodwill store in Webster, Texas, says an employee discovered a stash of $100 bills in a pair of shoes that were donated to the store. The cash totaled $3,300.

It turns out that a man donated the shoes without realizing that his wife had stuck their entire life savings inside. An employee alerted the manager who set the money aside for seven days to see if anyone claimed it -- and a woman from Galveston did. The woman  was extremely grateful.

This story warms my heart and renews my faith in the human spirit. There are people who do the right thing out there, and personally that makes my day!
