A free Community Health Fair will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in the gymnasium on the historic campus of Texas College located at 2404 North Grand Avenue in Tyler. Everyone is encouraged to come out and take advantage of the free health services this event will provide.

The Health Fair is an annual event sponsored by Tyler’s Sigma Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. which is a local non-profit fraternal organization that is seeking to provide a positive health-related community service for local residents.
The health fair will have several types of screenings such as testing for cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Carter BloodCare will be conducting a blood drive; PSA tests available; and NET Health will have an immunization clinic. Education on cancer, eye diseases, tobacco and STDs will also be provided. Everyone is invited and it is FREE.

All participating agencies will have tables set up for participants to stop by and visit. The brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. are providing refreshments.
