Tyler resident Wayne Propst thinks he has found fossils that link to Noah's ark in his front yard.

Propst told CBS 19, "From Noah’s flood to my front yard, how much better can it get."

He was helping his aunt lay some dirt at her home in Tyler when he found them. Using the help of a toothbrush and some neighborhood kids, he slowly unearthed the fossils.

Propst contacted self-proclaimed fossil expert Joe Taylor and sent pictures to him. Taylor said the fossils do, in fact, fit the time frame of Noah's Ark. Taylor added that this find in Tyler is rare.

Wayne’s aunt Sharon Givan said, “To think that like he says that we have something in our yard that dated back to when God destroyed the earth. I mean, how much better could anything be."

CBS 19 said they have not independently the fossil's authenticity.
