A Florida court awarded Cynthia Robinsin $23.6 million against the R.J.Reynolds Tobacco Co. in punitive damages for the death of her husband, who died of lung cancer (reported by CNN).

The case was based on the company's failure of warning smokers about the danger of smoking.

R.J. Reynolds is working on an appeal of the matter. It was said Robinson's husband started smoking when he was 13 and passed at the age of 36.

Do you think the tobacco company should be held responsible?
