Derek Fisher Hired as Knicks New Coach

Former player Derek Fisher is about to enter the coaching ranks.

Phil Jackson was determined to get one of his own as he hired Fisher to a five-year, $25 million contract to coach the New York Knicks.

It will be Fisher's first coaching job, and as you know he played on Jackson's five NBA title teams with the Los Angeles Lakers.
