Congrats are in order for Fantasia. The former 'American Idol' winner -- she took the crown during Season 3 -- has another No. 1 record to celebrate. Her latest, 'Side Effects of You,' has landed in the top slot on the Billboard R&B Albums chart.

The album, which sold 91,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, achieved another accolade and debuted at No. 2 on the all-genre Top 200 chart and at No. 4 on the Top Digital Albums chart. So the new platter is off to a healthy, running start for the singer.

Since Fantasia recently gave up her home, signing the North Carolina property over to the bank in order to avoid a messy foreclosure process, this impressive chart debut is a silver lining to a dark cloud and something positive to focus on.

'Side Effects of You' is the chanteuse's fourth album. It's also her second No. 1 R&B album, as 2010's 'Back to Me' also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart -- that project sold 117,000 copies in its first week. Additionally, 'Back to Me' debuted at No. 2 on the Top 200 chart. So it's a repeat of sorts.

The album's current single is 'Lose to Win,' which Fantasia performed on 'Idol' last month and the follow up is 'Without Me,' which features vocals assists from Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott. The track was the most added single at the Urban Mainstream format.

Congrats again to Fantasia on a great start to a killer new record.
