One of the main things I wanted to do in the New Year was to get myself in better shape.  So of course I do the gym membership, started drinking smoothies, and watch what I eat (well sorta), but at times I find myself by the middle of the workday still sluggish and finding it hard to stay alert during the second half of the workday.

So I talk to Stephanie who is the resident health guru at work and she wanted to do some stretching exercises in order to get the blood flowing and jump start my body to complete the workday.  I was a little reluctant, but she talked me into and and of course Jason our Digital Media Editor was on site with his trusty camera to film the entire exercise.

I must admit the stretching helped so I dug a little deeper and SELF Magazine has a video of an easy 10 minute workout you can do at your desk.  Even though these exercises might look strange to your co-workers, but they will definitely make an impact on living a healthier life especially at the office.
