Etta James Hospitalized For Sepsis

Legendary blues singer Etta James is currently in a Southern California hospital with a potentially deadly infection known as Sepsis. The disease stemmed from a bacterial infection from a urinary tract infection.

Her son, Sametto James, tells the Riverside Press-Enterprise that his mother was admitted to an undisclosed hospital earlier this week for treatment.

She also suffers from dementia, leukemia, kidney problems and other ailments.

Etta James is best known for her songs “At Last.”
