Eric Roberson performed for a sold out crowd at City Winery NYC on Friday (July 28).

The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter took fans on a soulful musical journey as he performed his classic hits, as well as new songs from his latest album Wind, which he describes as a "love album."

"Lyrics of Pleasure" which is on his latest album and features Will Downing, "Superman" and "Million Dollars," as well as his older hits including "Runaway," "Been in Love," and "Borrow You" were all on the set list, much to the delight of hardcore Erro fans. After each song, he entertained the audience by cracking jokes and even made up an entire song based on random words audience members shouted to him.

"Before this performance, we took a poll online to see what fans wanted to hear and this song was the most requested," he explained to the audience. "I wrote this song when I was 19, a lot slimmer, I was a student at Howard University, and was on Warner Bros," Roberson explained before performing "The Moon."

Roberson performed for over two hours, and before he left, had the ultimate jam session where he performed, "Big Poppa," by the late Notorious B.I.G.,  A Tribe Called Quest's "Bonita Applebum" and "You're All I Need" by Method Man and Mary J. Blige, before ending it with the classic "You're All I Need To Get By" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
