Emerson College Names School of Communication After Ron Burgundy

This is kind of a big deal.

Emerson College in Boston is changing the name of its school of communication for one day in December. The namesake? Media legend Ron Burgundy.

Yes, Ron Burgundy as played by Will Ferrell in the 'Anchorman' movies. With the highly-anticipated release of 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' approaching, this is the perfect time to recognize Burgundy's accomplishments in the media world.

College President Lee Pelton is thrilled to have Burgundy on campus for the naming of the Ron Burgundy School of Communication on December 4.

And even though the name change is only for one day, I feel sure that Boston will do it's best to stay classy.
