Ed Reed Signs With the Jets

After being on the waiver wire one day after being released by the Houston Texans, All-Pro and future Hall of Famer Ed Reed has reunited with former coach and now head coach Rex Ryan of the New York Jets.

Ryan, who was the defensive coordinator with the Baltimore Ravens, coached Reed and has added him to a delpeted secondary. He is looking for his leadership more than his skill.

"He has went to war for me before and I welcome him." Ryan said. The terms of deal and his role has not been given as of now.
