A Huntington woman has been sentenced to probation after she pleaded guilty to child endangerment, and admitted putting meth in her coffee just before giving birth.

An arrest warrant obtained by KTRE.com says Amanda McAdams, 26, tested positive for meth several times during her pregnancy and tests were done on her baby, which also came back positive.

The child’s father, Joseph Broussard, 42, also failed a drug test and admitted to snorting meth before his baby was born.

McAdams told Angelina County authorities she was “tired and worn out.”

Both McAdams and Broussard accepted a five-year probation sentence.
