The East Texas Food Bank is one of 500 nonprofit finalists in Toyota’s ‘100 Cars for Good‘ program. It’s a philanthropic initiative where Toyota is giving away 100 cars to 100 nonprofit organizations over the course of 100 days! The East Texas Food Bank was chosen as a finalist of more than 4,000 applications nationwide! In order to win the car, the East Texas Food bank needs your help – and vote!

Each day ’100 Cars for Good’ will profile five finalists. The public will then be able to vote for whichever nonprofit they think can do the most good in their community with a new vehicle. The nonprofit that receives the most votes at the end of that day will win one of six Toyota models! The runners-up each receive a $1,000 cash grant from Toyota!

Here is the really important part – The East Texas Food Bank will be featured and up for consideration TODAY (June 19th) from 9am-11pm! You will be able to vote today only for the East Texas Food Bank at the ‘100 Cars for Good‘ website! The program actually kicked off on May 14th, so each day you can log on and vote for other nonprofits from around the country.

You can check out the video here, but don’t forget to go VOTE TODAY!
