Summer fun will be here before you know it and one of the best ways to enjoy the summer sun is on an East Texas lake in a boat! Whether you take a bass boat out to do a little fishing or take a group of friends and family out on a pontoon boat, just being on the lake is fun and relaxing! If you want to have all this fun, but you're missing a boat (like myself), you can see a ton of new ones on display during the annual East Texas Boat + RV expo in Longview.

It's billed as the largest boat show in East Texas and it happens this weekend (January 29th - 31st) at the Maude Cobb Activity Center in Longview. This year's show features boats for all uses and of all sizes and they'll all be on display and for sale too! In addition to boats the boats and RV's, the show will highlight personal watercraft, RV's and campers too. In addition to all the horsepower and camping conveniences, attendees can also check out tackle dealers, outfitters, guided hunting and fishing excursions while the kids have fun with the hands on outdoor activities.

There is an admission fee to attend for adults and children and will be open 10 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday and then Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
