DMX Makes a Surprise Visit to Philly Homeless Support Group Meeting
DMX paid a surprise visit to Ready, Willing & Able a non-profit organization in Philadelphia whose mission is to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and criminal recidivism by providing paid transitional work, occupational training, housing, and comprehensive support services to homeless men.
The Philadelphia Inquirer, the men in the program thought they were gathered for a routine house meeting when X appeared. DMX shared with the men that he was celebrating a rebirth.
Last year, DMX was found unconscious and not breathing in a Yonkers hotel parking lot. It was the one year anniversary of his near-death experience and he wanted to honor his second chance at life by giving back.

After giving the men an inspiring speech he stayed to play some pool and have a meal. The men all thanked him for coming, and DMX responded, "As much as you're feeling it, I'm feeling it 20 fold."
