But according to AI chat, you can take your selfies if you’d like but there’s one place in the great state of Texas, where you decide to snap a pic, you could find yourself in big trouble. There used to be a time in life when people lived in the moment and didn’t even think about pulling out of the camera, but nowadays, if you don’t have it recorded or captured the moment never happened. Good thing we have a picture and the recordings of the moon landing, because who knows what people would think.​

If you want to strike a pose for a picture or the say cheese for a selfie, in the great state of Texas, you better make sure you’re not taking a picture inside a polling place on election day. Texas election code section 61.014 prohibits Texans from using electronic devices for recording, sound, or images within 100 feet of the voting station during voting hours. So if you are one of those young people who record everything and you are old enough to vote leave that Gen X behavior, 100 feet away from vote booths, or you could find yourself in big trouble. Living every moment with a selfie isn’t worth it. Well, it’s not here in the state of Texas.
