D’Angelo Surprises Fans With Performance at Bonnaroo [VIDEO]

Questlove's Superjam had a surprise guest this year that shocked fans. R&B singer D'Angelo surprised fans with a performance at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee. Talk about a shocker! According to fans, the "How Does It Feel" singer didn't miss a bit and sounded terrific! However, there was reportedly a bit of disapointment during his 90-minute set.Bringing him onto the stage to a shocked audience, Questlove announced:

“I’ve been waiting 12 years to say this — ladies and gentlemen, D’Angelo!”

According to fans, D'Angelo only performed cover songs, channeling the Beatles, Funkadelic and Led Zepplin -- he didn't perform any of the sexy R&B hits he's so famously known for. Nonetheless, he performed rock solid giving music fans a yummy treat!

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Questo said:

“This is what we used to do at the studio. We’d just go through the catalog of all my favorite songs. What you’re literally seeing is the process, us jamming here tonight.”
