Dairy Queen Is Offering Free Ice Cream Cones To Celebrate The 1st Day of Spring

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Face it everybody knows if you’re having a bad day the only thing that can make it better is ice cream.  So now that warmer weather is on the horizon Dairy Queen is celebrating the 1^st day of spring with their Fourth Annual Free Cone Day.

Delish reports, that the free ice cream cone giveaway will take place on the first day of spring (March 20) at participating non-mall locations of Dairy Queen and DQ Grill and Chill restaurants where each customer will receive a free small vanilla ice cream cone per customer.

The promotion is set up to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through donations from DQ customers.

Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation Maria Hokanson said in a statement:

We're excited for our fourth annual Free Cone Day!  This day has become a spring tradition and a sign that warmer weather is upon us.
