Many NBA experts feel like the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers are due to meet in this year's Western Conference Finals.

Well, on Monday night, it was all L.A. The Clippers defeated the Rockets 137-118 in the Staples Center and put a damper on Dwight Howard's return to Los Angeles.

Chris Paul led seven Clippers in double figures with 23 points and 17 assists and J.J. Reddick added 26 points to hand the Rockets their first loss of the season.

Howard finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for Houston.
