Her very first, and a much deserved Oscar win for actress Octavia Spencer! She nabbed an Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress" in the film, "The Help". "The Help" is a story based on what is was like for black women serving white women and their families during the Civil Rights era. The movie itself won an Oscar for "Best Picture".
