Is Chris Brown Worried About Rihanna’s Drinking?

Rihanna is known for her wild, party-filled lifestyle, and now her ex, Chris Brown, is reportedly worried that the ‘We Found Love’ singer may be drinking too much. RiRi’s beloved grandmother passed away two weeks ago and a source close to Breezy claims he is concerned she may be trying to numb the pain.

The singer tweeted a photo of herself drinking after her grandmother’s death, even apologizing for doing so. It was a vulnerable moment. A Breezy insider told Hollywood Life, “Chris was really, really worried about her when he [heard] she was up drinking and partying by herself, so he just wanted to reach out to her and show and little support, you know?”

Brown reportedly texted her, writing: “Cut out all [that] drinking.” The source close to the sitch says Ri has yet to reply. Said source confirmed that Brown is “just being a man and being responsible” by making sure she is alright, suggesting it’s nothing more than that.

For her part, RiRi admitted in her Harper’s Bazaar cover story that she was devastated by what went down with her and Breezy — oh, you know, that whole Grammy beating — since she was desperately in love with him. He attacked her and they subsequently split, changing her on a molecular level. Her words indicate that she was crazy in love with Breezy.

“When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love,” RiRi lamented. “The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life. I’m afraid of feeling that again.”

Poor Ri. We hope she isn’t staring down the neck of a bottle to seek comfort during tough times!
