Embattled singer Chris Brown nabs R&B Song of the Year in the 2014 The Boombox Fan Choice Awards. The crooner’s track 'Fine China' won a landslide victory in our poll of the top R&B tunes of 2013.

Breezy’s track garnered 78 percent of the vote, which is astounding considering who he was up against.

Among the artists vying for the trophy were Drake ('Hold On We’re Going Home'), Miguel ('How Many Drinks'), August Alsina ('I Luv This S---'), K. Michelle ('V.S.O.P.'), Robin Thicke ('Blurred Lines'), Ciara ('Body Party'), Daft Punk ('Get Lucky') and Justin Timberlake ('Suit & Tie') and the Weeknd ('Live For').

Hopefully, if Brown can overcome his legal troubles, he will be able to release his oft-delayed album, 'X.'

Congrats to Chris Brown and his dedicated fans who got behind him and voted for his song in the poll.
