Chris Brown Going to Trial

Just when you thought Chris Brown was out of the trenches, he gets pulled back in. Yesterday, Chris appeared in court for the assault allegation stemming from that confrontation out the the W Hotel in D.C. last October.

Chris turned down the plea deal that was being offered and if found guilty he could be back behind bars.

The deal that was offered to him was for him to plead guilty in exchange for time served with no additional jail time and no probation. Chris's lawyer said they wanted Chris to read from a script that just was not true.

The trial date has been set for September 8 and they say it will only take a day and a half.
