The day before he announced the release of his upcoming album 'X' via Instagram, Chris Brown took to the photo-sharing app to share a much more emotional and reflective message.

Posting a picture of himself in an orange jumpsuit, the troubled singer wrote:

"I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. But through it all I've always been true to myself and through God I've been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man. I'm grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life!"

Brown was released from jail last month after having been incarcerated since mid-March. The singer was sentenced to jail after being kicked out of rehab, which violated his probation in the case in which he beat up Rihanna. While serving his sentence, Brown was sentenced to 131 days after once again violating his probation when he got into an altercation with a fan in Washington, D.C.

Team Breezy, what do you think about Chris Brown's remarks? Do you think he should regret some of his previous actions, or do you think they helped to shape him into a better person?
