East Texas families can look forward to saving a lot of money during the annual Children's Consignment Sale at Harvey Convention Center in Tyler this weekend. More than 1,000 families have come together for this annual event, where you can buy gently used items for your kids and yourself. The consignment sale offers parents the opportunity to save a lot of money on children's clothes, from birth to young adults, toys, play equipment, bicycles, tricycles and a lot more.

The sale also offers new parents to be the chance to get all the things to create a cute nursery for their new arrival, including cribs, swings, bouncers, changing tables, maternity items for mom and cute decorations to make the room a special place for baby. Toddlers and older children are not left out, because there are plenty of things for them as well, including clothing, books and videos to keep them entertained for days to come.

The sale itself spans three days (Sept. 17-19) and takes place at Harvey Convention Center in Tyler. The sale is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Participation in the sale benefits East Texas families and beyond.
