Cee Lo & R. Kelly Added To ‘Sparkle Remake

Who could forget the 1979 film “Sparkle“? Well a remake is officially in the works with many stars already signing on for the project. Jordin Sparks, who plays the lead role, Whitney Houston plays her mother, Mike Epps, Tika Sumpter, Derek Luke, and Omari Hardwick have all joined the cast. Also, Cee Lo Green has signed on to play a leading role, with R. Kelly managing the film’s sountrack. Filming is set for October.
This is going to be good! Now that R. Kelly is handling the music – we are sure to watch!
