In the NFL's recent attempts to make halftime performances appeal to a younger demo at the Super Bowl (with the likes of Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, etc. ) the Los Angeles Times is reporting the NFL has reached out to singer-songwriter Bruno Mars as the possible headliner to perform at Super Bowl 48.

Super Bowl XLVIII is Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Meadowlands Met-Life Stadium. Bruno is the front runner on a list that includes Bon Jovi, Jay Z and Bruce Springsteen, just to name a few.

We'll keep you up to date on the NFL's decision, which is sure to be a TREASURE!

Do you like the idea of Bruno performing at the Super Bowl?
