Brian Roberts Signs With the Yankees

After a $240 million departure of All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano, the New York Yankees acquired Brian Roberts from division rival Baltimore Orioles.

The second baseman signed a one-year deal for $2 million. Robrts doesn't have the offensive prowess as Cano, but he carries a good glove and should provide solid defense.

Roberts played for the Orioles for 13 seasons.
