Brandy’s New Single ‘Put It Down’ Reaches No. 6 on the Charts [VIDEO]

Remember how much we fell in love with little Moesha from the "Moesha" show back in the day? And let’s not forget how much we played “I Wanna Be Down” over and over again on our stereos.

Us 1990s babies remember Brandy very well and also noticed that she stopped making music for a while, but if you have heard her single, “Put It Down,” featuring Christ Brown, you will have also noticed that Brandy is back with a brand new sound, style and attitude!

She’s back at it again and she’s obviously going in the right direction again because her single jumped six spots to the No. 5 spot on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs Chart this week.

Why is this such great news for Brandy? This is her first top ten single on the charts in 10 years! This song is the hit single on her new album, Two Eleven.

The album will be released Oct. 16 with what Brandy says is, “just an R&B album, a rhythm and blues album. That’s what it is. No gimmicks, real R&B music.”
