Bryant wasn’t the only hometown favorite shining during All-Star weekend. Rising Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin won Saturday night’s slam-dunk contest with a car-hoping dunk that included taking a pass from teammate Baron Davis through the car’s sun roof.
Several stars watched Sunday’s game, including Jay-Z and Beyonce, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Stevie Wonder, Steven Tyler and Justin Bieber, who was named MVP in Friday’s celebrity game, despite the fact that he had a shot rejected by former pro Scottie Pippen.
