Undoubtedly, Beyonce loves being a mom to Blue Ivy. So it’s only right that she salutes fellow mom Michelle Obama for her exceptional job at juggling motherhood and managing duties at the White House.

On her newly-revamped website, Bey posted a heartfelt message to Michelle calling her “an ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.”

She writes:

“No matter the pressure and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways.

Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us — I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

While Beyonce was penning an appreciation letter to FLOTUS, President Obama decided to give Kanye West a backhanded compliment. In a profile about Kanye for the Atlantic, writer David Samuels asked Obama about his rap preference between Jay-Z and his ‘Watch the Throne’ partner.

“Jay-Z,” he said, adding, “Although I like Kanye. He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.”

When Samuels reminded Obama of previously calling Kanye a “jackass” for crashing Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, he still stood by his statement. “He is a jackass,” he said. “But he’s talented.”

Ouch!

Despite POTUS’ backhanded compliment, Yeezy is probably not fazed by his comments. Like our man from the U.K. said in his viral video, Kanye is probably just projecting his “I Don’t Care” swag like a missile.
