One barber has volunteered himself to help parents discipline their misbehaving kids. He just pulls out the clippers.

Atlanta barber Russell Frederick, better known as Rusty Fred on Instagram, has volunteered his services for free for parents who have kids who need to learn a lesson.

"So u wana [sic] act grown...well now u [sic] look grown too," he wrote on his Instagram page.

He calls it the "Benjamin Button Special," and demonstrated it on his own son. Frederick is the owner of A-1 Kutz in Atlanta, and has said he'll give the haircut free of charge.

Frederick did say he hopes the dramatic haircut is a last resort, not a knee-jerk solution.

“I hope that most people won’t have to do this unless it’s an extreme circumstances," he told The Washington Post. "But when the conventional ways don’t work these days, you have to get creative.”

So, what do you think? Is it a good disciplinary tool or downright cruel?
