Trinity County authorities issued the Amber Alert Monday after Savannah Hurley was abducted by her mother Shelly Hurley as Children’s Protective Services went to remove the girl from her mother’s custody.

Early Tuesday authorities found the pickup the girl was in at Savannah's grandmother's home in Garland, but Hurley and mother were not there.

Police believe the two are now in a 1996 maroon Subaru Legacy.  The vehicle has Alabama license plates 487 38AZ.

Hurley had a violent confrontation with the CPS worker and threatened to run her over with her car. Hurley is a known drug user, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office at 936-642-1424.
