AlleyArt, KidsFest, AlleyRun, MusicFest are all part of a huge two day festival that takes over the streets of downtown Longview this Friday and Saturday and are all a part of AlleyFest!

The festival will kick off Friday, May 9th at noon and will feature something for the entire family whether its art, music, fun or food it will all be at AlleyFest.

AlleyArt began in 1979 when a group of 39 artists set up shop to sell their crafts in Bank Alley in downtown Longview. This event has grown over the years and this year it will be featuring artists that will be selling their crafted creations from wood, ceramics, pottery, blown glass and more. It's a great place to find perfect gifts too.

KidsFest activities are all free and include face painting, a bus for the kids to paint on, a train ride along with arts and crafts too. There is also free entertainment on the stage for kids from Arts View Children's Theatre.

AlleyRun will kick off at 7a with a 10k and will be followed by a 5k and a one mile run too. You can register up until run time beginning at 6a on Saturday.

MusicFest has become the highlight of AlleyFest and features all kinds of music. This year's headliner is Granger Smith and will be taking the stage at 9p on Saturday. See a complete list of all the performers here during AlleyFest.
