Alicia Keys Donates Instruments To School

R&B singer, actress, and human rights activist Alicia Keys visited the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan on Tuesday and donated musical instruments to the students. The school is actually her former high school in which she learned and perfected her craft.

Alicia says she wants to make her alma mater better. She says it is underfunded and oversubscibed. Keys also annouced she will be starting an online contest where you would express how you would use $1,000 “to make the world a better place.” It is part of her campaign called “World of Betters.”
