2011 BET Awards Performances

Last night in Los Angeles California at the Shrine Auditorium, the 2011 BET Awards were underway. Many of our favorite artists performed. The beautiful Mary J. Blige opened the show with an awesome performance and brought legendary singer Anita Baker on stage during with her. There were also performances by popular kid of the night, Chris Brown along with Busta Rhymes. Alicia Keys took the stage with Bruno Mars. Ms. Kelly Rowland did a sexy performance of her hit song, "Motivation" with Trey Songz. Our girl Jill Scott performed a jazzy / blues number as well. Other performances included the tribute to Ms. Patti LaBelle, with rappers Cee-Lo and Marsha Ambrosius.  Also Beyonce was at the show via satellite from the U.K.'s Glasonberry Music Fest. She made history by being the first ever female headliner of that event! Also honored was our very own morning man, Steve Harvey with the 2011 Humanitarian Award.
