2 Chainz Arrested at LaGuardia Airport for Carrying Brass Knuckles

Rapper 2 Chainz has been locked up! No lie. The Atlanta native was arrested on Tuesday (May 22) at LaGuardia Airport in New York for having brass knuckles in his carry-on bag. WTF?

According to TMZ, airport security discovered the metal weapon and called police to the scene. 2 Chainz was then handcuffed and charged with a misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon.

Apparently, 2 Chainz is still in custody. Meanwhile, the rapper’s spokesperson told TMZ that his team is “handling the situation.”

No word on how 2 Chainz’s arrest will affect his participation on Drake‘s all-star Club Paradise tour. The ‘Spend It’ rapper is expected to perform Tuesday night (May 22) in North Carolina. By all accounts, he should make the gig.
