15-Year-Old Charged for the Murder of 78-Year-Old Man

15-year-old Alzavious Turner was arrested and charged with first degree murder after beating a 78-year-old man to death at a park.

The crime happened Oct. 27, 2013 in Glenview Park, near Memphis. Turner was trying to rob the man and discovered he had no money and soon after he continued to beat 78-year-old John Hurley Sr., leaving him for dead.

After several months in the hospital, Hurley Sr. died on March 21,2014. Turner was arrested Monday and is now held in Juvenile Court Custody as reported by KLTV.
